# Turn an internal idea into a funded product

Good ideas inside large companies stall while they wait for a budget, and the budget waits for proof. Choie gets your team that proof fast: a working prototype of the idea in one week, for a fixed $4,900, that leadership can use rather than imagine. Once it is funded, the same senior people design and build it inside your team and your systems, from $19,000, with a written scope and a fixed price.

## From idea to funded product

1. **Prove it in a week.** One critical workflow of the idea, designed and coded with real behavior in five business days, for a fixed $4,900.
2. **Show it to leadership.** Your sponsor hands leadership working software to use, not a slide deck to imagine from. The hard questions get asked about a real product.
3. **Ask with a real number.** The week ends with a recommendation on what to build and what to leave out. Then we write the scope for the build, with one fixed price and a date, so the budget request carries a figure instead of a guess.
4. **Build it with your team.** Once it is funded, we design and build it inside your team. The full $4,900 is credited if the build starts within 60 days.

## Why a working prototype gets funded

Most new ideas inside a large company stall between the slide deck and the budget. Leadership is asked to fund something it cannot see, and the team is asked to prove value before it has anything to show.

A working prototype closes that gap. Leadership uses the idea instead of imagining it: real screens, real behavior, and the hard parts visible early. The conversation moves from whether it could work to what it should do first.

Speed matters because sponsors move on and budget windows close. AI and our own kit make one week enough for one critical workflow. Taste decides what goes into that week and what stays out, so what leadership sees is the part that makes the case. How that works is in [how we use AI](https://www.choie.co/guides/ai-accelerated-development).

When the answer is yes, there is no handoff to a new team. The same senior people who built the prototype decide the architecture, review every line, and take it to software your company can run: secure, accessible, tested, and easy to maintain.

## Working inside your team

- **Part of your team, not a vendor.** We join your channels, standups, and tools for the length of the project, and work with your product managers, designers, and engineers rather than around them.
- **Senior people on the work.** A senior designer and engineer on your project every week, with no account managers between you and the people doing the work.
- **Problems solved in weeks.** A defined problem, a written scope, and a live link every Friday. Your team sees progress each week and decides with us what comes next.
- **Your team keeps it.** The code lives in your repositories from the first day, and the designs and the reasoning behind each decision are handed over, so your team can carry it on.

## Projects we take on

- **An idea that needs a budget.** A new product or feature someone believes in, turned into a working prototype in one week so leadership can use it before it is funded.
- **A problem your team is stuck on.** A workflow, tool, or product problem that has waited months for capacity, solved in weeks by senior people working inside your team.
- **A new product or product line.** A web or mobile product designed and built from the first decision to launch, run with the focus of a startup inside the company.
- **An internal tool.** Software that replaces spreadsheets, email threads, and manual steps, built around how the work actually happens.
- **A prototype that has to go to production.** An early pilot, an internal test build, or an AI-built prototype that now needs real architecture, testing, security, and a codebase your team can maintain.
- **A design system for a product line.** Tokens and components set up once in design and in code, in your codebase, so every team building on that product line starts from the same parts.

## Procurement, security, and price

Company projects start from $19,000 and are quoted in writing after an intro call, with the timeline set in the scope. They follow the same rules as every engagement: one fixed total with no tax added on top, and the code yours once it is paid for.

- **NDA and data protection.** We sign an NDA before you share anything confidential, and a GDPR data processing agreement when the work involves personal data.
- **Procurement-friendly invoicing.** Invoices against your purchase order, with payment terms such as net 30 agreed in the written scope.
- **Inside your systems.** Work happens in your repositories, cloud accounts, and design tools, under your access and security policies.
- **Alongside your team.** We can design and build end to end, or work with your engineers and designers on one defined project.

## How a project runs

1. **Intro call.** Thirty minutes on the idea, the users, and what is in the way. If you need an NDA first, we sign it before the call.
2. **Prototype week.** When the idea still needs proving, one week and a fixed $4,900 gets a working prototype and a build recommendation your sponsor can take to leadership.
3. **Written scope.** Deliverables, dates, the payment split, and one fixed price, in writing and ready for a budget request. Your procurement and security reviews can run alongside it.
4. **Design and build.** Design and code move together, inside your team and your repositories. Every Friday there is a live link to use, not a mockup to review.
5. **Launch and hand over.** We launch, watch real people use it, and fix what gets in their way. Your team keeps the code, the designs, and the reasoning behind the decisions.
6. **After launch.** Defects in our own work are fixed at no charge for 30 days. Ongoing work can continue month to month from $9,900 a month, or your team takes it from there.

## Who leads the work

Kleant Zogu, the founder, leads product and design on every project. Kleant is a designer first. He helps founders and executives launch new ideas, improve existing software, and build products that can scale. His experience includes projects for Microsoft and Siemens, work with startups, and most recently Brave Software. Choie takes on no more than two projects at a time, so a senior person works on yours every week, and trusted collaborators join when the scope needs specialist skills.

## Where Choie fits, and where it does not

### Best fit

- A defined web or mobile project, at a startup or a larger company
- One primary user and critical workflow
- One owner who can make decisions every week
- A clear goal and a realistic first release

### Better elsewhere

- A program that needs dozens of people at once
- Every platform and integration in one first release
- Open-ended staff augmentation
- No clear owner, user or first release

## Questions from larger companies

### Do you work with larger companies?

Yes. Teams often start with a one-week working prototype of an idea they need to show leadership before it gets a budget, then we design and build it inside their team. Projects include new products, internal tools, and prototypes that need to become production software. Company projects get a written scope and start from $19,000. We sign NDAs and GDPR data processing agreements, invoice against purchase orders with agreed payment terms, and work inside your systems and alongside your team.

### Can you help us get a budget for an idea?

Yes, and that is often where we start. In one week we build a working prototype of the idea for a fixed $4,900, so leadership can use it rather than read about it. Then we write the scope for the build with one fixed price and a date, which gives the budget request a real number.

### How quickly can we show leadership something?

The prototype week takes five business days, and it ends with working software your sponsor can put in front of leadership. The start date depends on the work already booked, because Choie takes no more than two projects at a time.

### What if leadership says no?

Then you have spent one week and $4,900 rather than a quarter, and you know why. The prototype, its code, and the recommendation are yours either way, so the idea can come back when the timing is right.

### Can you work as part of our existing team?

Yes. On a defined project we work inside your team: in your channels, standups, repositories, cloud accounts, and design tools, under your access and security policies. Every engagement still has a written scope, so it is a project with an end, not open-ended staff augmentation.

### Can you sign our NDA and a data processing agreement?

Yes. We sign an NDA before you share anything confidential, and a GDPR data processing agreement when the work involves personal data.

### Do you accept purchase orders and payment terms?

Yes. Company projects are invoiced against your purchase order, with the payment split and payment terms, such as net 30, agreed in the written scope.

### Is Choie only for prototypes?

No. A one-week coded prototype is one way to start. Choie also designs and builds production web, iOS, and Android products, takes prototypes to production, and works on live products month to month.
